For Bobin Robin

The rules:
A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B. Each player lists 6 facts/habits about themselves.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

1. David is the love of my life. My whole family are my best friends, but Dave is the best! I admire his integrity and obedience and commitment to the gospel. He is really clever and very gentle and kind. How did I get so blessed?

2. I have a thing for many feather pillows and crushed ice.

3. I love to have sewing projects. Right now its a rag quilt. I worked on it yesterday as I re watched The Illusinist- great fun

4. I give platelettes at least once a month as part of my self imposed repentence program for weighing more then I want. Plus I am the universal giver for platelettes and they go straight to Primary Childrens hospital in SLC

5. I generally cry as I watch my children perform.. do all moms do that? I guess I am just happy they are doing what they dream of.

6. I am a crazed Index-er/Extractor for Familysearchindexing.com. It really is an addiction

At the request of niece Jenny

1. Where Did You First Meet Your Husband?

I met Dave on Sept 23, 1982. He came to pick me up for our blind date. My mom greeted him at the door with raw chicken all over her hands and my dad told him he didn’t have to bring me back home until the middle of the next week because that is when the new semester started. I wore a skirt rather then jeans, and he was impressed.

2. What Was The First Thing You Said To Your Husband?

I’m thinking it was something like, “Hi, I’m Connie”

3. Where Was Your First Date?

We went mini golfing then to our friends house for a bbq

4. Where Was Your First Kiss?

Fall, 1982 The first time he kissed me, we had been on BYU campus doing a homework project in the SWKT. He needed my scale from home, so we went there to do the elevator/scale homework. Later, I dropped him off- he didn’t have a car, and it was raining, and he kissed me then.

5. Did You Have A Long Or Short Engagement/Courtship?

We met in September, I was a believer by December, but he didn’t believe until June when we got engaged. We got married Aug 16, right before fall semester of school 6. Where Did You Get Engaged? We were on a drive around Provo, up by the temple. We had gotten out of the truck and hiked up a hill to see the temple lights, that is where he asked me to marry him .

7. Where Were You Married?

We were married in the Salt Lake Temple Aug. 16, 1983

8. Where Did You Go On Your Honeymoon?

We stayed in our little honeymoon apartment for the first few nights, then headed to Virginia for the open house. We spent time in Va. Beach too.

9. Where Was Your First Place Together?

Our first place was 355 south 300 east Provo Utah, 1 mile from campus. It was an old house that had been turned into four apartments. Nice huge trees lined the streets and it was nice and quiet.

10. How Long Have You Been Married? 24 years and I’ve loved it!
